"Love Yo Natural" is a Natural Hair Care Series providing free in-person hair education for youth and families to deeply understand and embrace their natural. The Love Yo Natural free cultural series focus on loving our cultural roots and identity through the care of our hair. We partnered with local natural hair stylists to create this experience.

An Evening of Black Joy Talent Show
The Youth Empowerment Program presents its first talent show in partnership with The State Theatre. We welcome you to enjoy a night full of talent at An Evening of Black Joy.
Itβs your chance to see what they got! An Evening of Black Joy is an opportunity for young men and women ages 12 - 26 to showcase their talents during Black History Month. A space for youth in the community to embody their culture with a chance to win up to $1,000!

We are excited to announce and share our first ever Love Yo Natural Workshop led by one of our bright youth members, Noah White. Noah is a Modesto native and graduated from Davis High School '22. He now attends the infamous HBCU, Morehouse College, where he's studying business & marketing. He is eager to share his knowledge and journey of loving his Natural with our community!

Making your health a priority is essential in ensuring you live an abundant life filled with wealth. At YEP weβre here to support you on that journey. Apart of our Wellness Wednesdays series, we offer free community yoga classes for our local youth to thrive and enjoy! Come enjoy the music, refreshments, & vibes! Doors open at 6:30pm, yoga session will begin at 6:45PM.
